Our goal is to see first export of LNG by no later than 2030 and sooner if this can be accomplished in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. As per the summary schedule, LNG NL is currently in the early development phases of this project. Our engineering consultants were commissioned and have since completed the first phase of feasibility and pre-FEED engineering work.

Predevelopment Activities
Through early engagement with federal and provincial agencies, LNG NL is developing a comprehensive permitting strategy and a regulatory roadmap with a view to filing a formal Development Application by no later than the first quarter of 2023. Other milestones that must be achieved in order ensure first LNG by 2030 include approval of the Development Application by no later than the first quarter of 2025 and Project Sanction and EPC Contract Awards by no later than the last quarter of 2025.
